Dr. Suescun graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then traveled to Dublin, Ireland where he completed medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After five years of Irish weather and in search of warm sunny skies, Dr. Suescun moved to the valley of the sun, where he finished residency at Maricopa Medical Center. Since graduation, he has worked at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and Shea hospitals, Banner Thunderbird and Banner Good Samaritan hospitals, as well as many nursing and rehabilitation facilities. He is also currently medical director for Serenity Hospice.
During his free time, he enjoys training for and competing in triathlons. One if his greatest accomplishments is completing the Ironman triathlon. He finds it very important to share the importance of a healthy diet and exercise with his patients, friends, and family. Other hobbies include CrossFit, scuba diving, tennis, traveling, hiking, working-out, and just hanging out and spending time with family and friends. He is also fully fluent in French and Spanish.
